Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actress, is known for her portrayals of Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. Also, she played the roles of characters from the television film Nightingales, the NBC show of the same name (which was only for a couple of episodes), Erica Paget on the CBS Drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio from Psych. A native of California Swanson had a passion for acting as a young girl. She started her career in acting through a variety of commercials. Her first appearance on TV was in an NBCs It's Your Move sitcom episode from 1984. Her first big screen appearance came just two years later in the romance show Pretty in Pink. Swan, who is known for her stunning voice and a blonde hair, has appeared in parts in a variety of roles over the last several years. She won the Young Artist Award in 1989 as the best Young Actress in Horror or Films with a Mystery in the film Flowers in the Attic.
