Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale (born April 2, 1985) is an American professional player of the basket ball. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the college level before being selected as the 5th overall pick by the Wings in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was conceived on the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26-year-old brother. Ogunbowale was a participant in the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championships which she took home Gold Medals. In 2014, the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team was announced on 7th July 2014. Ogunbowale was also selected on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her debut year as a collegiate player. Kobe Bryant even thanked her for a number of important shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale, who is relatively new to the game of basketball, has already made herself a household name.
